It's amazing what $ 200,000 you can buy. Admittedly, this is a nice car, beautifully designed and finely detailed. The leather and wood in the cabin is unmatched. Only in the car, your sense of smell flooded with the heavy scent of leather. The two rear seats are a major farce. It refers less space than a 911 and a hat rack for towing around would be much more useful.Ergonomic views, this car are several years behind. The navigation screen is reflected from the wood panel in the middle of the dashboard for James Bond-ish, like Goldfinger 1960s. Interface navigation via a joystick-type button on the center console is a bit archaic to have to look for solutions to this problem, other carmakers with me. Express AM radio reception, to say the least, is terrible, but the FM tuner and a satellite receiver and does good sound.
The V12 is certainly solid, but the six-speed automatic transmission is a bit disappointing. It is smooth and refined, but the palettes are a waste. There is no redline on the tachometer, so you do not really know where to go, but again, you do not need. The computer moves for you if you make a magic number, whatever. The dashboard-mounted buttons control the transmission is also a function of recoil.
The hood works fairly easily with a single operator to touch, although the engine that lowers the roof is a little more noise than expected. The top is well insulated and, if present, is the refuge is a relatively quiet place.
The ride is much more difficult than expected, with the suspension crashes over bumps and holes instead of sliding smoothly over it. It's a little oscillating chassis also something that is not provided in a car costs more than the average American.
It is unaffected by that of the inner joy of doing, including an ashtray in the center console and how large hinged doors for Swing Up and out, instead of only.
The car has seen a ton, with several people noting that they had never been an Aston before. One woman said she did not know what it was, but thought it was a Chrysler Sebring (ouch! Do not tell Ian Callum).
This is a great car, covered and enjoys a cruise of the summer evening. With a comfortable interior, nearly 500 horses underhood and decent sound system, what more could one ask for in his or her $200,000 investment? Other than a deed.
WES RAYNAL EDITORIAL: For $ 209,000 I also have many cars, I would do one of these before. It is true that last night we have a very beautiful car, it took from the base as the sun and the weather was cooling.
The car is not only special $ 200,000. Yes, it's beautiful to see and I love that color. The car literally stops people in their tracks.
Part of the interior are excellent (love the instruments), but then the ball of cheese have the navigation screen is what looks like an add-on and NRDP buttons on the dashboard look and feel "cheesy, too.
It's fast, but not Blow-Me-away fast. Somehow it is not like 470 hp and not as it does not sound. I guess I expected more violent noises from under the hood. It has behaved a little. I like to transfer coats with their quick and clear.
The frame was stiff and refines the course and direction is accurate as hell. Frankly, I think it would be harder than the did.
But overall, as I said, the car does not feel as individuals. For this price I can take a Carrera 4 for winter and a cab 911 for the summer and Pocket $ 51,000.
